Bizzy Birdy Playthings The mission of Bizzy Birdy Playthings is to provide your avian
companions with unique toys that are safe, interesting and affordable.
Barry Schneider officially started Bizzy Birdy Playthings in November 2002 and
debuted about 25 of his designs at the Rocky Mountain Society of Aviculture's November
Bird Show and Mart in Denver, CO. The positive reaction to these initial
toys led Barry to design and create an ever expanding catalog of toys.
Unfortunately, no toy or toy part can be truly considered "bird safe"!
Each bird's personality, preferences and behaviors must be taken into
consideration when selecting toys for their enjoyment. Even if you are
very familiar with your birds' habits, it is strongly recommended to use caution
when introducing new toys to them. It is very important to select toys
that are size and species appropriate. Also, no new toy is placed inside a
bird's cage until you are "reasonably sure" it is a "safe" toy for them to have
unsupervised access to. Barry makes every effort to utilize the best "bird
safe" materials he can find in the construction of Bizzy Birdy Playthings.
