Jumbo Manzanita Toy

Designed for MEGA beaks ... this has a large center core of Manzanita (this is a very hard wood), that has been drilled and welded chain is strung through the center with six "arms" full of colorful wooden blocks, cholla chunks, Manzanita pieces.  There are three hairy coconut halves on the bottom plus a large (4-1/2" L x 1-1/2" Diameter) aluminum tube bell (very difficult to get the clapper out of this toy) for a ringing good time.   A multitude of textures in this toy ... natural coconut, dried corn (remove the plastic wrapping before giving to birds), cholla (cactus) chunks, hard and soft woods, plastic chain, vegetable tanned leather ... YOWZA, too much to try and describe here!  There is lots of chewing fun and texture in this mega beak toy.  Each one weighs between 17-20# and if your mega beak doesn't destroy the Manzanita center, you can easily restring and get more bang for the buck!  There is a nickel plated quick link on top for easy hanging.

The Busy Beaks' model featured above is a mega beak Blue & Gold Macaw named Huckleberry.  Huck loves this toy so much that his parront (that's a human parent), Stephanie, bought another for his "vacation" home!  Notice Stephanie makes the most of her bird cage "real estate" by hanging the toy on the outside of the cage so Huck can use it as a perch too!  Thanks for sharing, Stephanie!
