Our greys tend to be real lovers of noise and bells so this toy was a must have for us with six heavy duty, nickel plated cow bells hanging on the bottom! Strung from heavy duty nickel plated chain with a quick link on top, the large star is a whopping 1-1/2" thick x 4-1/2" diameter (the medium is considerably smaller 1/2" thick x 2" diameter). We had originally gotten this for our larger cockatoos but the greys bullied their way over to make this toy was theirs! We would have said this was too big for mid sized parrots but they just love to hang from it and just bang the heck out of it! If you have a bell lover in your house, this is definitely a must! Your bigger beaks like macaws and cockatoos will enjoy this toy as well ... it's just a ringing good time for YOUR Busy Beaks!
Note: As with all bells, if your FID tends to be mechanical, please remove the clapper before giving to your avian family!
